Our story

Founded 2020 by Collin Kaitare

EMPORT was founded in 2020 and has grown into a trusted supplier within Uganda and the wider East African region. With a strong focus on the Oil and Gas sector, the company specializes in the supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), heavy equipment, drilling chemicals, and petroleum products supporting both upstream and downstream operations.

Our Founder and CEO, Collin Kaitare, was inspired by the emerging opportunities in Uganda's oil and gas industry and the increasing demand for high-quality, reliable products. This vision has shaped EMPORT's strategic direction and sector specialization.

Founder & CEO

Collin Kaitare founded EMPORT in 2020, driven by the emerging opportunities in Uganda's oil and gas sector and a conviction that local businesses deserved the same reliable access to quality products and services that multinational operators expect. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a general supplies outfit into a trusted procurement and logistics partner for operators and contractors across Uganda's oil fields, earning NITA Uganda certification along the way. He continues to guide EMPORT's strategic direction today, prioritizing safety, integrity, and long-term partnerships with every client the company serves.
